St. Charles City Hall Tops Out
The new St. Charles City Hall has reached a significant construction milestone with the placement of its highest structural steel beam. Located within the historic City Centre complex, the 75,000-square-foot facility transforms the former 1906 American Car and Foundry Rail Car Warehouse into a contemporary civic space while preserving its historic character. The milestone brings the project one step closer to creating a new home for city administration, council chambers, and public gathering spaces. The new City Hall is anticipated to open in August 2027.
